Ivory tufted upholstery on aged brass

Aged brass is finished by hand. Depth and pattern of the patina vary between pieces, and will continue to change with use.

Upholstery is cut and fitted by hand. Slight variation in seam placement and in the depth of colour between batches is normal, and cushions soften and settle within the first few weeks of use.

Care
Aged brass is a living finish. It is supplied already darkened and continues to deepen with handling, which is the point of it.
Dust with a dry cloth only. Do not use brass polish -- it strips the aged finish back to raw metal and cannot be undone.

Vacuum the upholstery with a brush head every few weeks and rotate loose cushions so they wear evenly.
Blot spills immediately with a clean dry cloth -- press, never rub, and work from the outside of the mark inwards.
Keep the piece out of direct sun. Prolonged sunlight fades every upholstery fabric, and a bedroom window is the usual culprit.
Professional cleaning is recommended for anything that has soaked in. Full care guide
